Shoulder Joint Mobilizations

Cervicothoracic Joint Mobilizations

Manual therapy is defined as the utilization of skillful hands on techniques via joint mobilization, soft tissue, and medical exercise in the treatment of the human body to restore physiological motion and to improve tissue tolerance to loading of areas of bodily dysfunction.

What is the difference between Physical Therapy Institute and the competition?
PTI’s therapists utilize joint mobilizations to enhance range of motion.  While performing passive range of motion is important to improve soft tissue flexibility it does not influence joint biomechanics.  By performing joint mobilizations along with range of motion, the patient’s joint function improves more rapidly, therefore enhancing patient outcomes.
